Privacy Policy
Effective November 2, 2026
Integrity Assessments Investigations (“IAI,” “we,” “us”) is a Texas-licensed private investigations firm (License A19944401) that works for criminal defense attorneys. This policy explains what information we collect through iahotx.com and our related booking pages, how we use it, and who handles it on our behalf.
Please do not send privileged or confidential case details through our website forms. Share only what we need to contact you and understand the request. We will follow up by phone or secure means for anything sensitive.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a case referral (in English or Spanish), we receive the information you enter: your name and firm, phone number, email address, court, deadline, the service you need, and a brief description of the request.
Credibility testing bookings. When you book a VerifEye® or EyeDetect® appointment, our scheduling service collects the details you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, and appointment time.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and its hosting provider receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. Our site also uses a Google advertising tag, which may set cookies to measure how visitors find and use the site.
How we use information
- To respond to referrals and inquiries, usually within 24 hours
- To prepare cost estimates, scopes of work, and engagement or funding paperwork
- To schedule and confirm credibility testing appointments
- To keep records required for our work and for court funding and billing
- To understand how attorneys find our site and to measure our advertising
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the information you submit to market unrelated products.
Who handles information for us
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Formspree delivers referral form submissions to our office email.
- Calendly handles appointment booking and confirmations.
- Google provides the advertising and measurement tag on our site.
- Netlify hosts the website.
These providers process information under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or our licensing obligations, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Confidentiality of case work
Once retained or appointed, IAI works for the defense and reports only to counsel. Information developed during an engagement is handled as confidential work for the attorney and is not shared with prosecutors or other parties except as counsel directs or as the law requires.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage Google ad personalization through your Google account. The site will still work if you block cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed to respond to your request, carry out any engagement, and meet our legal, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or keep it securely.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we receive, including restricting staff systems to signed-in users. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask that privileged details not be sent through web forms.
Children
This site is intended for attorneys and adults involved in legal matters. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised.
